My girl Julienne just put me on to my fav new social networking group, www.goodreads.com. I love to read and insist on having an artillery of books on deck to choose from when deciding what I'm going to read next (just ask Shannae at What Women Want, I'm forever raiding her brain for book titles). Anywho, This site is perfect cause it offers an organized list of books you've read and rated, books you're currently reading and books you'd like to read. You can browse your friends profiles to compare reading lists and send messages suggesting certain things for each other.

I'm hooked! That movie list may just be pushed to the back burner for the holidays.

Happy Holidays...

As Cold as Ice...

I had a vision of grandeur, it was going to be spectacular, spacious and cozy. We would spend the night and I was even thinking of moving in all together. She humoured me, well they all did, advantages of being the baby. I was probably 7 and it didn't work out but we tried and I'll never forget it. I never finished my igloo in the backyard but we had a hell of a time starting it.

He Smells...

This is an oldie but a goodie movie rental for the cold winter months ahead of us. There is not a tons of dialogue but the acting and cinematography are all you need to stay engaged. Its absolutely stunning.

My friend, who shall remain nameless, tells me the story of the first time a girl told him she loved him. Its bad so I had share it.

"So there was this girl and her and I weren't really dating....I mean if you ask her she would say we were but....we weren't. We were all chillin' in my building and everyone left but me and her. As soon as we were alone she said it....in a whisper at first but she said it. So of course for me to kill time and think I said "WHAT?!" she repeated herself confidently... "I Love You". I was silent...for a while....(awks). She got impatient and asked if I was gonna say it back, me knowing I didn't love her or anything close attempted to smooth over the situation by simply saying..."luv, luv, luv! She wasn't happy"
